The forms and documents below are part of any new restaurant’s planning process. They are here as a reference and ideas. Many change as the new restaurant is in construction or encounters problems.

This is one of the first hand drawings we conceived on the front of the house in the early stages of the restaurant. As you can see below in subsequent architect’s drawings, it changed quite a bit.

Hand drawing of special electrical needs. This is a drawing to give to restaurant planner or architect.

This is the architect’s electrical plan based on the information given to him by you or the contractor. This will accompany a permit to do electrical work for the site.

Architects second version of the front of the house. Your restaurant’s preliminary drawing from the architect. When you lay out your idea of what you want your new restaurant to lokk like, the planner would come back with this type of drawing.

The nuts and bolts of a new restaurant is the back of the house. This drawing shows the placement of the major equipment.

This is the kithchen layout drawing done by hand that eventually became the final plan.

Lien waivers are used to protect against liens a contractor may file even though they have been paid. Both general contractors and sub-contractors need to sign these prior to draws for any payments.
